I just listened to this short compilation on “unreasonable, radical generosity“. It made me feel good so I thought I would share.
The world would be a different place if we all thought like this.

Yesterday I had the honor to photograph the wedding of two wonderful friends. Mike and Crystal are two of the most loyal people, full of integrity and the love of God. Mike is from Lebanon and their wedding was so beautiful. It was a wonderful mix of 2 countries and traditions but the same heart and love for the Lord. They are honeymooning in Lebanon for a few weeks so Crystal can meet his family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as Mike’s family is Muslim and they will be standing firm in their Christian faith. I am convinced that love is the only thing that wins in the end. Here is a photo from their engagement and a few from their wedding.
I love you guys, God bless you both.

I love this one! They were great sports and all played their parts really well.

I am so excited! I won! Four times a year, www.WPJA.com holds a contest that is worldwide with a lot of entiries. There are 10 categories and the first 3 placements of each category get this cool gold medallion by their name that increases their ranking on the site and makes you look really cool. :) Well, I didn’t make the top 3 but at least I placed in the top 10 and I’m stoked about that. ( I’ll get it next time!) the category I placed in is “Creative Portraits” which is actually the hardest one according to the judges. Check out the site, there is really some amazing stuff there.

Steve and Linze were married at the Hanalei Colony Resort on Kauai on June 16th, 2006.Click here to see their slideshow.

I just returned from 13 fabulous days in Hawaii. What a trip. I had a wedding to shoot in Kauai so we turned it into a family vacation and had a blast. There is something about the islands that remind me that there are so many things that I fill my life with that are just not that important. In Hawaii, the scenery is so beautiful and there is so much to do outside. My husband had never been before, so we spent 4 days on Oahu, staying with friends on the North Shore. Then we went to Kauai and spent a lot of time snorkeling, jumping off cliffs and rope swings into crystal clear swimming pools. It is such a beautiful place. The wedding was in Hanalei on the beach and I was also able to shoot an engagement session for Kelly and Anny who are getting married next month in Maui. I can’t wait to go back for that one. It won’t be nearly as long of a trip but even little doses of the islands make a big difference.

This is the view that my friends have every morning when they wake up. Ah. life is hard.

Ali and Joel are such a cool couple. They are so laid back and comfortable with who they are. It was really nice hanging out with the two of you! I’m looking forward to their wedding in September.
