Gaudry’s

June 30, 2008 – 2:00 pm

David + Jenice. It always starts with 2. Then there were 5. Jenice is about the nicest person you’ll ever meet, always willing to help and do whatever she can, she’s a mom after my own heart. Her oldest, Micah, proves it as he achieved a 4.0, perfect attendance and “most outstanding student in 6th grade”. At Strong Rock Academy none the less so it wasn’t easy.
Matthew is a star in his own right, not afraid of anything and willing to take any challenge. Little Savannah is last but definatly not least. She keeps them all jumping and guessing and there’s never a dull moment when she’s around. Oh, and David works for my father in law so it kinda makes us family. Sort-of.

The chase is on!

I love this one, all the kids are going their own way.

Miller’s

June 29, 2008 – 11:45 pm

This is my sweet friend Leigh Ann and her beautiful family. All decked out in shades of green against a blue sky and aqua ocean. Destin called to all that were there to take advantage of the scenery and book a family session. Leigh Ann almost melted my lens because she’s so hot and her husband agrees.
Mark is the football coach at Woodward academy, Peyton is 15 and ready to conquer the world. Bailey loves to sleep over at our house and cook all kinds of things with Madison. Sydney is the young model with the intense stare and young Cole was photographed more during the weekend than he could hardly stand. Way to push through it, Buddy!

Ai Chee Wa Wa!

Leigh Ann loves old stuff. She’s a great decorator too and this condemmed beach house called her name until she took the fam, hopped the do-not-tresspass sign, and ventured in. She was happy as a clam.

Lindsey + Micah 06.14.08

Powdered white sand, cool, blue ocean, long, wide beaches. What more could you ask for? Family and friends: Present. Long awaited hopes and dreams: Check.

It was absolutely beautiful. The weather was a little threatening, as it rained all day and at 5:00 the call had to be made on whether to set up on the beach or in the Hotel. Amidst the falling rain and grey skies, Lindsey choose to follow through with her dream of a beach wedding and 15 minutes before the precession, the clouds parted, skies cleared and Glory reigned down. Micah and Lindsey, thank you for allowing me to share in your wonderful day.

It was raining here but they didn’t let it stop them. That’s my kind of bride.

Micah’s dad was his best man. I just love that.

I absolutely LOVE IT when tears are shed. It’s real. Spontaneous. A release of emotion. Lindsey cried all the way down the aisle, and all through her vows. It’s so true. What a glorious occasion, full of heart and a lifetime of waiting. It all comes down to this moment and I love when it comes through.

This is right after they were “pronounced” husband & wife, just before the kiss. Ya, she’s excited.

Lindsey’s dad is such a cool dad. He played a mean percussion with utinsils and kept the party hopin.

The day before the Big day.

Lindsey and Micah’s rehearsal was almost as fun as their wedding. ( almost ) Lindsey looked fabulous and the excitement was extremely high. Everyone nailed it with only one run-through, although beach weddings are pretty darn relaxed so there wasn’t a lot to go over. I snapped some shots of the soon-to-be-wed couple before everyone went to Carrabas for dinner.
