Scotland

Courtney and Jeff will be wed in 37 days. I can’t wait. Jeff is very proud of his Scottish background and so I was super excited when he said he wanted to wear one of his kilts for the shoot.  Courtney looks fabulous as a wench peasant girl.  We had a lot of fun shooting tonight. I have so many great photos it’s hard to choose which ones to share.

Zoe

She makes me laugh all the time with her little personality. She’s a chatterbox at home but the minute we get around people, “mums the word.”  She loves to learn new words in the morning and her favorite place to be is in the pool.  I can’t believe that she will be 2 in 2 months.  Seems like yesterday.

Gettin creative with what you’ve got.

Hide some small toys in a box of paper shreds and let the fun begin!

Lily Anastasia Bennett

She’s beautiful. Brittany is my hero. Jeff is on cloud 9. God is so good! I’ll post more soon but this is for those of you who can’t wait to see her. It’s 4 am. Good night.

alison + brian {8.9.08}

a>Alison and Brian were married at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Atlanta on a beautiful August afternoon. Surrounded by family and life long friends, the day went by just like a dream.
The receptioin was held at the Cherokee Town Club with music totally rocked by the Atlanta Beat Band.

Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Hair was fabulously done at Lux Studio

I love the beading on Alison’s dress. So delicate and feminine.

Gifts were exchanged early in the day, A Rolex and princess cut diamond earrings. Both were stunning.

I jumped in the limo with Alison and Brian and grabbed a few shots along the way.

In keeping with the tradition of unique ring shots, I “borrowed” a tulip from one of the centerpieces, strung the rings on the stem and held it upside down against a patterend wall. I then shown a video light up under the tulip and shot it with a macro lens.

More messing around with the video light, shining it through Crown Royal on the bar.

First dance.

Listening while toasts were given.

Creative lighting on the wedding cake.

I love this shot. As if he is going to keep her from getting cake in his face.

The groom’s father and grandmother sharing a moment.

I loved the beauty and sacredness of the rosary that Alison wore all night. It was wrapped around her wrist in such a way that she held the cross all evening. Beautiful.

At the end of the night, Alison and Brian were waiting upstairs while the guests lined up outside for the farewell. I love the look of this red hall and the photo almost seems 3D to me.

What an absolute GREEN idea! Throw the petal, plant the paper, watch it grow. Love it!
