Age is just a number.

This is my beautiful friend, Tee Garlington. If you want to be around someone with joy, be around her. If you want to be encouraged, inspired or feel loved, be around her. She is one amazing lady. Essense magazine is doing a story on women over 60 and she should get the cover. For real. She looks incredible, don’t you think? Watch out for the issue, we’re sending in her photos. You rock, Tee!

Zoe’s babies

Zoe’s twin cousins came for a visit yesterday. They brought their momma with them and we all hung out for the day. Zoe is very much into “babies” and was just beside herself having two that made real noises and wiggled when she poked them. We set them all up on the couch for a few shots and Zoe took a special liking to Brady being close.

She also got very upset when when we took him away from her. ooohhh. poor baby girl!

AHHHHHH…all better!

She loves her baby Brady.

Arden and Brady are 5 months old and doing wonderful. I really admire Stacey for her patience and love towards them.

This is the shot of the day, for sure. Madison is standing behind me eggin her on and pulling funny faces. That’s my girl!

Kelly + Jon {Magnolia Hall}

September 6, 2008. Kelly is a hidden gem. Adorable, energetic and full of spunk. She was initially revealed at the Van Michael Salon where Rod Lawson began the trasformation. Loopy curls, diva makeup and sisters ala carte. The wedding was held at the Magnolia Hall where Sharon from It’s my party ran the show with full attention to every detail.

Kelly was absolutly beautiful and her 2 sisters are definately from the same tree.

Mima shoes.

Kelly ( full of GRACE! )

There was a wealth of beauty and charm passed down from the generations.

Guys, football, jokes…4 Seasons Hotel.

I love these few shots from the ceremony. It was super warm with limited seating but everyone was lulled into a trance by the vows, including the brides’ lovely mother.

Goofin nephews.

The beautiful Mr. $ Mrs.Luzier.

Wonderful details. The Bold American Catering Co. was on hand for flowers, food and visual extrodinaire.

Jon was hoisted above his mate’s for a round of song and everyone watched with nervous hearts as he occasionally left all hands in mid air.

I’m giving a big shout out to Kelly’s 2 younger sisters who decided in the middle of the reception that the dresses were too hot, too long, too un-danceable and in the light of that, proceeded to cut them off. Viola! Dance-able et chic! Besides, who wears their bridesmaids dresses again anyway?

Cangratulations to Kelly & Jon! May the rest of your life only get better!

I Will to I Do.

The Atlantan Brides Magazine put on a fabulous, very non traditional, bridal show today at the wonderful King Plow Arts Center. I was invited to participate and had a great time chatting with future brides and meeting some new vendors. Here are a few of my favorites. First we have Chocolate Pink and their beautiful pastries and wedding cakes. They offer a design service that will accommodate any theme you can think of. Check out how the cake ties in with the magazine cover and the necklace is duplicated on another cake. Tres Chic!

I can’t say enough about Bold American Catering.  Their food is always top notch awesom-ness and their design team will transform any event into a unique, visual delight.  They are decorators, florists and melt your mouth chef’s.   Everything you can dream of in one package.

I love the arrangement on the top right.  Straight from a palm tree, I can see this at a beach wedding.  So unique!

I met Liz about a week ago at her totally hip shop, ad*ap*ta’*tion.  She had one of the most creative minds I can think of.  She started making these adorable little ring pillows off of a whim and I believe that everything this woman creates is just one of a kind. If you are looking for awesome florals, check her out!

This is John Penniman and he definitely got the most attention of the day.  John is a purveyor of fine chocolates from Switzerland and was representing one of only 12 stores in the country. Teuscher Chocolates are flown in to the states every 10 days, this chocolate will make you think you have died and gone to heaven.  The boxes are super cute and come in small to big sizes so you could use them as gifts for guests or score big and give a big box to your new mother-in-law.

It looks like heaven is shining down on this brilliant table of chocolate!  That’s my friend and former bride Melanie Uchida on the left, she came and hung out with me which was so nice.  I asked her to come and be my personal reference and since her sister just got engaged last week she was able to gain some information to help her plan her wedding.  Thanks Melanie!  It was so good to see you!
