Mary + Casey {07. twenty five 09}

The kitchen was filled with friends, family, food, makeup, bobby pins and laughter. Mary was relaxed and looking forward to her new life as Mrs. Walston.  The ladies focused on hair and makeup  while the 2 flower girls kept everyone somewhat entertained.

Mary’s dress was a fabulous work of art, weighing in at about 22lbs.

The flowers were all amazing thanks to DGl Florists.

Mary’s bridesmaids kept her laughing whenever they could. I love this shot.

I have been anxiously waiting to shoot at the Georgia Aquarium for the last 3 years and I can say with all certainty that it did not dissapoint. It was absolutely gorgeous with the lighting changing to another hue every few minutes.

First dance touch.

I love this shot of Mr. + Mrs. Walston

Tangled legs make for interesting photos.

I like this reflection shot of the Beluga whales and a guest.

Thanks to Lindsey Turner for shooting the guys and covering details at the Aqurium. Vendors include

Coordinators Brian and Sergio from F& G Events

Florals  DGL Designs

Cake  Mark at Bakers Man

DJ    Joel from Lethal Rhythm

and Joe Quillian and his amazing staff at The Georgia Aquarium.

It was such a beautiful wedding and I wish all the best to you, Mary and Casey!

you know how i love ‘firsts,’ well this one rocks.

Mini me. {07 twenty three 09}

She’s almost 3. That’s hard to believe! 2 more months and she will add an entire number to her age.
She’s a momma’s girl, for sure. I love it that she prefers me over anyone. I mean I feel bad that daddy doesn’t get the pining over like I do but his time will come, sooner or later, she’ll want to run to him and I will have hugs and kisses and “i love you, mommy’ whispers stored up and it will be OK.
She’s a girly girl for sure. Painfully shy and loves Dora. She’s the opposite of Madison in her personality, quiet, reserved, doesn’t like attention. The harder you try to get her to notice you or flash those baby blues at you, the more she will ignore you. 4real. Just ask my friend Maria. She LOVES Zoe, I mean goes ga-ga over her and Zoe won’t even give her the slightest look. I tell Maria, “just ignore her and she’ll warm up to you,” but she can’t help herself.
Personally, I think Zoe knows exactly what she’s doing. Another wrap around her finger for her, and her, and him, and…..

Scott + Sharone {07.nineteen.09}

OK.  I know I always say great things about every wedding I shoot, and it’s because it’s true.  I fall in love with the couple after being so involved in their wedding day.  I laugh with them, get excited with them, sometimes get nervous with them and even cry with them.  My life is richer after each wedding and this one is certainly no exception.  We shot over 7000 images, (that’s a record!) and have manages to get the final edit down to around 1000.  Part of the reason is because  Jewish weddings have so much tradition and meaning.

So in light of the incredible amount of work I have to finish, and the fact that their slideshow also has a record number of images (240+!) I am only going to post a few images here on the blog and hope that you watch the slideshow to get a real sense of the wedding.

Sunday’s Wedding between Scott & Sharone was incredible. I’m in the process of editing over 7000 images so here’s a peek in the meantime.
