Zandra + Michael {e-session}

In Zandra’s words, “We met in the parking lot at church one gorgeous spring day.  It was not by chance.  I think Michael had it all planned out. I say (jokingly) that he had been stalking me.  Of course, his account of how we met is different; he says I was scoping him out for weeks, but my story is the “true” version.  Michael and I have known each other for almost 3 years.  It did not take us long to realize we wanted to spend our lives together.  We got engaged earlier this year, and in just a few months planned a wedding and here we are!

 It’s a Nigerian wedding and I’m really excited about it. Don’t know what that looks like? Me either….Stay tuned…..

Amy + Jason {engagements}

They have crazy schedules, live in different states, he loves to dream about his future car and she is a super model living undercover as a pharmeceutical sales rep. Oh, and did I mention that they are perfect for each other? Well, they are and will be getting married April 17 and I can’t wait. They are just super nice people and I feel like it’s totally my good fortune to be apart of their lives.

Nikki + Nate

This is my new york couple, Nikki and Nate. They’re getting married in October and I’m super excited about their wedding. I’m also looking forward to a trip to the Big Apple for their engagement session this spring. We had a short session scheduled for last Saturday to get a few shots for their Save the Date cards but due to my car accident, I couldn’t make it. It’s the first time in 13 years that I have had this happen and I felt sick about it. Fortunatly, there are some awesome photographers around that are also amazing people and one of these is Hassel Weems.  He heard about the accident and immediately contacted me, offering to cover anything that I had scheduled.  Since Nikki and Nate were only in from New York this particular weekend, it was one of those that couldn’t be re-scheduled and I am so grateful for Hassel.  They say that in times of crisis, you find out who your real friends are and I just wanted to publicly thank him for being just that.

Nikki and Nate, thanks for being flexible and I look forward to seeing you both very soon. You are a very beautiful couple!

Scotland

Courtney and Jeff will be wed in 37 days. I can’t wait. Jeff is very proud of his Scottish background and so I was super excited when he said he wanted to wear one of his kilts for the shoot.  Courtney looks fabulous as a wench peasant girl.  We had a lot of fun shooting tonight. I have so many great photos it’s hard to choose which ones to share.

Courtney + Jeff {engagements}

They were set up by Courtney’s Aunt. The whole thing was totally planned and it has taken off from the very beginning. The perfect pair. She loves to sing and he’s a great musician. She’s a gentle butterfly and he works for the police department. 10 years apart, they couldn’t be more in love. They were down in Florida for Micah and Lindsey’s wedding so we took advantage of the great scenery. They will marry in October and I can’t wait.

Ashley took these by the fence and I love them.

Congratulations to an awesome couple. I can’t wait for the big day.
